Transfer Process
There are three steps to the videotape transfer to DVD
process:
- Encoding
- The creation of high quality MPEG-2 files used for
DVD.
- Authoring
- The creation of a look for the DVD, Utilizing advance
features, i.e., motion menus, special effects, web links and Dolby
Digital audio). Professional level functionality meeting DVD
Remote Control standards for menu, chapter and index selections.
- Mastering
- The final step of putting the authored media on DVD for replication
or DLT for large orders.
